There are more than 40 “dream homes” in the USA, with the Charlotte house being the biggest within this initiative. This grand project sponsored by Cosentino and its materials has raised 1.7 million dollars, with all proceeds going directly to St. Jude Children’s Research. Thanks to the success of this project both in raising funds and its innovative architecture and interior design, Cosentino is proud to have once again been part of this initiative in 2020. Jennings is from Charlotte and is currently fighting AML for the second time at St. Jude. With the construction of this home, we want to provide HOPE to the Palmer family and others who are fighting this horrific disease. In addition to the Dream Home, a ticket doubles as a chance to win other prizes – a new car, a vacation, Raising Cane's, $1,000 and many more. All ticket sales and donations go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, which works on new discoveries, advancing cures, and keeping it free for families. This year’s house is a four bedroom, three bath located in the new “Bayou Trace” subdivision off highway 165 near the Frenchman’s bend subdivision. The 2017 St. Jude Dream Home is one of the newest and most popular floorplans from De Young Properties and has received a lot of attention due to the versatile and efficient use of space.

The 2017 St. Jude Dream Home included a signature designed suite from Celebrity Designer, Michael Moloney. The Michael Moloney Mystery Suite transformed the master living quarters into an all-encompassing suite of colors, textures and the unexpected. Actually, for several years, I lived in a house in the desert that had Silestone worktops. I did a lot of entertaining, but the worktops withstood all the wear and tear, scratches and dents.

WBTV’s Mary King joined home builder Jeff Newton of Newton Custom Homes and other sponsors on WBTV News This Morning Wednesday to break ground on the more than 3,000 square foot home. Likewise, this initiative helps families who have limited financial means and children who require medical treatment. The master bedroom suite located on the first floor adds to the popularity and convenience of this floorplan. The master living quarters provides the homeowner plenty of space with an en suite bathroom and large walk-in closet.

While we do get the majority of labor and materials donated for the construction of the Dream Home, there are still some construction costs we incur.

St. Jude’s Dream Home Tickets Now On Sale
NCHR partners with our vendors and sub-contractors, donating our time, materials and labor, to build a home at a fraction of the normal cost. While we are building, the St. Jude marketing team, partnering with WBTV channel 3 and 96.9 Kat Country radio will sell 22,500 raffle tickets at $100 each – raising $2.25 MILLION dollars. All of the proceeds will go to St. Jude for research and treatment of kids battling life threatening diseases. This is our 7th year and we are so blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of this amazing campaign. Once again God is doing amazing things throughout this campaign and we are blessed to have the chance to glorify Him through this work, “for such a time as this”. Because of your support we are getting closer to a world without pediatric cancer.
These 2×4’s will then be used in the construction of the Dream Home and will literally fill the walls of the home with HOPE. Newton says the home will have 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a dining room, a keeping room off the kitchen, and a sitting room off the main bedroom in addition to many other custom features. - Following an exciting groundbreaking, Charlotte’s 2022 St. Jude Dream Home campaign is officially underway at WBTV. This year’s dream home is located not far from downtown Monroe on Arden Drive, about 45 minutes southeast of Uptown Charlotte. The second floor of the Residence 220 floorplan includes two bedrooms and a bathroom.

What’s more, it’s also very easy to clean, so I think it will be perfect for whoever moves into this home. I simply adore the industrial look that is becoming more and more popular.
